The
NCVHAC was established to provide liaison with the State of California
regarding legislation, design,
construction, and other matters that affect the timely completion of the
Northern California Veteran’s Home planned for
Shasta
County. In partnership with State
and local officials, elected leaders, community leaders, Veteran’s
organizations, and media outlets, the NCVHAC will disseminate
information to north state communities on the status of the Northern
California Veteran’s Home. Additionally,
the NCVHAC will pursue fund raising activities for the purpose of
providing additional capability to support morale, welfare, and
recreational activities and other amenities for the residents of the
home. The NCVHAC will remain
in effect until such time as the Northern California Veterans Home is
fully operational or until the committee is no longer needed and
dissolved by the committee chair.
